Social Media & Marketing Internship
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months (with potential for employment)
Hours: 10 Hours per week
Compensation: Unpaid (Includes a free Koryo Tours tour to be mutually decided upon)

Internship Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated interns to join our team for a six-month remote internship. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about travel, international relations, and cultural studies to gain hands-on experience in the travel industry and in social media and content creation.
As an intern at Koryo Tours, you will have the chance to work with a dynamic team and contribute to various exciting projects. You will work with various media and on a variety of platforms, and ultimately pioneer our new social media strategy which has a heavy focus on video content creation.
As part of your internship, you will join a Koryo Tours tour to either North Korea or a mutually decided upon international destination. This trip is your chance to let your skills shine. During this trip, as well as enjoying yourself, you will be in charge of getting the content you need to produce short-form video content for our various social media platforms and websites.

Main Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and editing content for our website, blog, and social media platforms
- Produce short-form platform-specific video promotional campaigns
- Create a structured social media schedule on a weekly basis under the guidance of the team across platforms; Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, etc.
Other Responsibilities
- Conduct research on travel destinations and current travel trends
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities
- Collaborate with the team on special projects and initiatives
- Participate in virtual meetings and contribute to team discussions
Qualifications
- An interest in travel, especially to more unusual destinations!
- Basic video editing skills
- Experience in using Canva (or similar software)
- Basic knowledge in some of the countries and areas we work in
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an eye for detail
- Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
