Film is one of the best ways of reaching an audience since the mid 90’s we have made documentaries, feature films and travel programs both for Western and North Korean viewing. In addition to film making we are the official foreign co-ordinators of the biennial Pyongyang International Film Festival and have taken in films such as Bend It Like Beckham and Mr Bean to an unsuspecting audience!
Comrade Kim Yong Mi is a North Korean coal miner. Her dream of becoming a trapeze artist is crushed by the arrogant trapeze star Pak Jang Phil who believes miners belong underground and not in the air.
