Hotels of the North Korea (and Beyond) // An old Soviet graphic for a hotel in Warsaw, Poland.
Somewhere out there while scouting a new tour destination (which will remain secret for the time being), we came across an old hotel logo from Warsaw's Hotel Metropol: post-apocalyptic, retro-futuristic , evocative, and ripped asunder - but for what reason? We may never know.
It's the sticker you would die to have on an sturdy luggage trunk. We are thinking of doing a retro remake next time we are in Poland.
You can view the Warsaw Metropol Hotel's modern website here.
Hotels of the DPRK is a blog posting dedicated to the fascinating world of accommodations in North Korea (and beyond).
