Discover the magic and mystery of Bhutan with Koryo Tours when the skies are bright blue and tourism numbers are the lowest. Your Himalayan journey will be like no other!
Join Koryo Tours this December as we head for an unforgettable journey into the heart of the Himalayas. Welcome to Bhutan, the Land of the Thunder Dragon!
This is not your average holiday.
Bhutan offers a one-of-a-kind adventure through a kingdom truly unlike any other. Ancient traditions thrive, and natural beauty will truly astound you.
Over the course of 8 days, this trip will take you on a cultural deep dive through Bhutan’s stunning landscapes and vibrant cities. All whilst keeping things fun, engaging and immersive.
From the nail-biting landing into Paro Airport (famously one of the world’s most thrilling runways) to the serene spiritual heights of the legendary Tiger’s Nest Monastery. An absolute must for anyone visiting Bhutan!
This tour is perfect for those who enjoy jaw-dropping views of the Himalayas, traditional hot stone baths, 7th-century Buddhist temples, and spicy chillis at the local market. Plus, we’ll even get the chance to experience a homestay, where you’ll cook, eat, and share drinks with your local hosts.
You’ll walk across mountain passes hoisting prayer flags for good karma, learn archery (Bhutan’s national sport!) and dance your way through a colourful cultural show in Haa Valley. We’ll even help you design and send your own Bhutanese stamp!
Return flight from Bangkok, all meals, accommodation, entrance fees and guiding by both a local guide and a Koryo Tours tour leader are all included. Along with, of course, the warmth and expertise that Koryo Tours is known for. Our small group tours are curated with curiosity, cultural respect, and a genuine sense of adventure.
More than just a sightseeing trip, this will be a journey that gets you under the skin of Bhutan and leaves you with memories (and friendships!) to last a lifetime.
Spaces are limited - so don’t miss out!

Experience the contrast of two incredible
countries. From the Himalayas to
the waterways; the calm to the chaos!

A combo tour not for the faint-hearted. Join us as we combine two epic countries, both with incredible nature, culture, and people.
But one a bit more chaotic than the other..!
First, to the mountains. We begin our adventure in Bhutan, the tiny Himalayan kingdom where Gross National Happiness matters more than GDP, and ancient traditions live on among soaring peaks and valleys. In a country where there are no traffic lights (only polite hand-waving policemen) and where even the airport landing feels like an achievement, we'll soak up everything that makes Bhutan so magical.
Think grand fortresses (dzongs) rising from misty valleys, prayer flags flapping along mountain passes, farmers working the fields in traditional dress, and cliffside monasteries perched impossibly high above the world. We'll visit sleepy villages, walk to sacred sites, and soak up the calm cool atmosphere.
Then, just as you’ve adjusted to Bhutan's crisp mountain air, we swap the heights for the waterways, flying down into the bustling heart of Bangladesh. A country bursting with life and energy.
Here, history isn’t tucked away behind glass. It’s very much alive, vivid, and part of everyday life. We'll meet master saree weavers keeping ancient crafts alive, explore lost kingdoms, visit floating markets straight out of a storybook, and cruise through the vast Sundarbans, the world’s largest mangrove forest, home to crocodiles, river dolphins, and, if we're lucky, the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger.
Along the way, we'll stop at ancient monasteries once bustling with monks and scholars and remote fishing villages where otters help fishermen bring in the day’s catch. A centuries-old tradition still quietly surviving.
This isn’t just two countries. It’s two completely different worlds.
One in the mountains, the other on the rivers. One where silence stretches across valleys, the other where life spills out into the streets, the markets, and the forests.
With Koryo Tours, we’ll connect the dots between these two unique places. Travelling slowly, meeting local communities, and experiencing the real heart of each destination.
Expect epic landscapes, surprising encounters, a few bumpy roads, and a lot of great stories to take home.

When was the last time you considered visiting Bangladesh? Probably not recently, if at all.
But that's exactly what makes Bangladesh so special.
Bangladesh has much to offer, something you truly appreciate only upon visiting.
One of those destinations where there's always more to uncover, with every corner presenting a new adventure. It boasts incredible and varied landscapes, from bustling cities to dense jungles, a diverse array of wildlife including the Royal Bengal Tiger, and a rich history and culture evident in its preserved traditions and architecture dating back to the 4th century BCE.
And the people? Some of the friendliest you'll ever meet!
This tour packs as many highlights as possible into a short time frame. If you want to make the most of your Bangladesh visit, this is the tour for you.
We hit all the must-see spots, including a Dhaka City tour, a floating market, local bazaars, mosques and temples, school visits, lunches with local families, rural countryside excursions, the exploration of Mahasthangar, the oldest archaeological site in Bangladesh, and a trip to Sompur Mahavihara, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Plus, you'll spend two nights exploring the Sundarbans, the world's largest mangrove forest and home to the Royal Bengal Tiger. (Don't worry, we'll have an armed guard with us just in case we encounter any furry friends)!
Additionally, you'll experience unique activities like saree weaving, otter fishing with the few families who maintain this tradition, and delving into the rural countryside.
All this while being guided by and travelling along the lifeblood of Bangladesh. The many rivers and canals that crisscross the country. No trip to Bangladesh is complete without ample time on the waterways!
Note: We've designed this tour to give you the best possible experience in Bangladesh. The lack of tourism infrastructure is part of its charm. Some parts of the tour will take you to very local and rural areas where you'll find yourself travelling, living, and eating like a local. At times, there will also be no mobile signal. Prepare for travel like it used to be!
