The Olympic Committee of the DPRK has confirmed that Koryo has been granted the exclusive rights to enter foreign amateur runners into the 2018 edition of the Mangyongdae Prize International Marathon in Pyongyang.

Amateur participants from all countries — excluding citizens of East and SE Asian countries, but including those from Hong Kong and Singapore — are only to submit their application to take part in the marathon through Koryo Tours (or one of Koryo's authorised agents for this event).

The Pyongyang Marathon will next take place on 8 April (2018), and it is possible to run a Full Marathon, Half Marathon, or a 10km. If you would like to join any of these races then you can find our full list of marathon tours here. Tours range from 2.5 nights to 10 nights in the DPRK.
