Not only taking you further, but taking you higher as we conquer the fabled thunderdragon that is Bhutan.
Bhutan's tourism policy puts impact on "high value, low impact", meaning there are very few people who have the chance to visit the Kingdom of Bhutan every year. The policy may make the country relatively difficult to access, but it protects the natural beauty and unique culture of Bhutan and the Bhutan people.
To get away from the crowds even more, we will be travelling to Bhutan during the offseason period, beating the "crowds" and ensuring a peaceful and memorable trip to Tiger's Nest.
From exploring the beautiful Capital city of Thimphu, hiking in the valleys of Punakha, Gangtey and visiting the iconic Tiger’s nest... We invite you along on this adventure as we discover Bhutan.
All of our Bhutan tours will be accompanied with a Koryo Tours tour leader to ensure you get the most out of your Bhutan travel.

This is not your average holiday.
Bhutan offers a one-of-a-kind adventure through a kingdom truly unlike any other. Ancient traditions thrive, and natural beauty will truly astound you.
Over the course of 8 days, this trip will take you on a cultural deep dive through Bhutan’s stunning landscapes and vibrant cities. All whilst keeping things fun, engaging and immersive.
From the nail-biting landing into Paro Airport (famously one of the world’s most thrilling runways) to the serene spiritual heights of the legendary Tiger’s Nest Monastery. An absolute must for anyone visiting Bhutan!
This tour is perfect for those who enjoy jaw-dropping views of the Himalayas, traditional hot stone baths, Buddhist temples from the 7th century, and spicy chillis at the local market. Plus, we’ll even get the chance to experience a homestay at a Bhutanese village where you’ll cook, eat, and share drinks with your local hosts.
You’ll walk across mountain passes hoisting prayer flags for good karma, learn archery (Bhutan’s national sport!) and dance your way through a colourful cultural show on your first night. We’ll even help you design and send your own Bhutanese stamp!
All meals, accommodation, entrance fees and guiding by both a local guide and Koryo Tours tour leader are all included. Along with, of course, the warmth and expertise that Koryo Tours is known for. Our small group tours are curated with curiosity, cultural respect, and a genuine sense of adventure.
More than just a sightseeing trip, this will be a journey that gets you under the skin of Bhutan and leaves you with memories (and friendships!) to last a lifetime.
Spaces are limited, and Bhutan has a daily tourist cap - so don’t miss out!

A combo tour not for the faint-hearted. Join us as we combine two epic countries, both with incredible nature, culture, and people.
But one a bit more chaotic than the other..!
First, to the mountains. We begin our adventure in Bhutan, the tiny Himalayan kingdom where Gross National Happiness matters more than GDP, and ancient traditions live on among soaring peaks and valleys. In a country where there are no traffic lights (only polite hand-waving policemen) and where even the airport landing feels like an achievement, we'll soak up everything that makes Bhutan so magical.
Think grand fortresses (dzongs) rising from misty valleys, prayer flags flapping along mountain passes, farmers working the fields in traditional dress, and cliffside monasteries perched impossibly high above the world. We'll visit sleepy villages, walk to sacred sites, and soak up the calm cool atmosphere.
Then, just as you’ve adjusted to Bhutan's crisp mountain air, we swap the heights for the waterways, flying down into the bustling heart of Bangladesh. A country bursting with life and energy.
Here, history isn’t tucked away behind glass. It’s very much alive, vivid, and part of everyday life. We'll meet master saree weavers keeping ancient crafts alive, explore lost kingdoms, visit floating markets straight out of a storybook, and cruise through the vast Sundarbans, the world’s largest mangrove forest, home to crocodiles, river dolphins, and, if we're lucky, the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger.
Along the way, we'll stop at places you won't find in most guidebooks: a YouTube-famous village where locals have turned daily life into online stardom. Ancient monasteries once bustling with monks and scholars. And remote fishing villages where otters help fishermen bring in the day’s catch. A centuries-old tradition still quietly surviving.
This isn’t just two countries. It’s two completely different worlds.
One in the mountains, the other in the rivers. One where silence stretches across valleys, the other where life spills out into the streets, the markets, and the forests.
With Koryo Tours, we’ll connect the dots between these two unique places. Travelling slowly, meeting local communities, and experiencing the real heart of each destination.
Expect epic landscapes, surprising encounters, a few bumpy roads, and a lot of great stories to take home.

Looking for something different from your Bhutan tour? Look no further. Koryo Tours has spent months researching a unique Bhutan itinerary, and we've finally perfected it. We will travel from East to West, exploring one of Bhutan's least-known eastern regions. A unique area with a distinct culture and spiritualism, combined with a beautiful, unscathed natural environment.
Most of Eastern Bhutan lives in tiny hamlets and are often shielded high above roads or can
even be situated in isolated valleys. With limited interaction with the outside world, the culture and traditions here run deep.
Of course, no Bhutan tour is complete without covering the highlights such as Paro and Tiger's Nest. This trip combines the must-sees as well as offering a unique road trip adventure across the Eastern region.
Journey into the heart of the Himalayas. Welcome to Bhutan, the Land of the Thunder Dragon!
Over the course of 11 days, this trip will take you on a cultural deep dive through Bhutan’s stunning landscapes and vibrant cities. Traversing both land and air as we drive up landscapes over 3,500m and take a domestic flight to enjoy the nail-biting landing into Paro Airport (famously one of the world’s most thrilling runways).
Our journey starts in Guwahati, the vibrant gateway to Northeast India and Bhutan. From there, we cross into Bhutan’s wild east. A land of ancient weaving traditions, hidden alpine villages, and untouched valleys where age-old ways of life continue to thrive. Over the next ten days, we'll traverse dramatic landscapes, from thick forests to soaring mountain passes, stay in charming homestays and characterful lodges, and experience the incredible warmth of the Bhutanese people first-hand.
Highlights of this one-of-a-kind expedition include visiting the mystical village of Merak, home to the Brokpa people whose distinctive customs have remained unchanged for centuries. Exploring the colourful markets and sacred temples of Trashigang and Trashi Yangtse. And witnessing Bhutan's finest textile arts at the heart of its eastern highlands. We'll wind our way westward into the lush Bumthang valleys, the cultural heartland of Bhutan, before reaching the iconic landmarks of Paro and Thimphu.
