Beijing Event:
Beyond North
Korea

A night of travel stories and Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan

Looking to get away from Beijing next year? In need of some inspiration?

Drop by Pop-Up Beijing in Sanlitun on Wednesday December 6 at 19:30 for a night of stories from our travels beyond North Korea to Mongolia, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan. We'll be there to talk former Soviet bases, nuclear test sites, and sanatoriums; eagle hunting, horse riding, and 'goat pulling'; and the 'door to hell'.

We will also be saying goodbye to our friends at Pop-Up Beijing who are popping down shop on December 10. While we will miss you in the neighbourhood, we also can't wait to see what you'll do next!

In the mood to watch a North Korean film? Koryo Tours is putting on a free film screening of 'Comrade Kim Goes Flying' at the Bridge Cafe in Wudaokou on the evening of Monday December 4 at 20:00. Director and producer Nicholas Bonner will be there to answer questions about the film. Be there or be square, Haidian!
