The Dushanbe Half Marathon, Tajikistan

Today the annual Dushanbe Half Marathon in Tajikistan set off to a great start with fine spring weather on the streets of the Tajik capital.
More than 250 runners from Tajikistan and 17 other countries took part in the event.

For the second year in a row, British company Koryo Tours has taken amateur foreign runners to take part in this race in the heart of Central Asia.
Additionally, Koryo Tours runs group trips annually to Tajikistan for the Nowruz (Persian New Year) and along the Pamir Highway.
