Dunaúváros Location

History and Formation of Dunaúváros

Founded in the early 1950s as a model socialist city, Dunaúváros was originally named Sztálinváros (Stalin City).

After the fall of communism in 1989, the city was renamed Dunaúváros, reflecting its location along the Danube.
