This tour offers you the perfect chance to enter the Pyongyang Marathon, run aside Korean marathon runners, and have a city tour of Pyongyang and the North-South DMZ border - all on a budget!
Spend 4 nights in North Korea, giving you enough time to recover from the marathon and have a couple of days to explore Pyongyang city centre. This includes all of the must-sees, such as the Pyongyang Metro, the Korean War Museum, and the Mansudae Grand Monument statues of the Great Leaders.
We will also take a day trip out of Pyongyang to go to the historic city of Kaesong, the border city to North-South Korea.
And for all the serious marathon runners out there, the Pyongyang Marathon is an IAAF Bronze Label Road Race with AIMS Certification. Come back with some of the most unique running shirt, finisher's medal, and race certificates around.
This tour will give you an insight into 3 different areas of North Korea; Pyongyang, Kaesong, and the DMZ. There are plenty of other places waiting to be explored though, which we visit on our Pyongyang Marathon and Kim-Il Sung Birthday Celebration tour.
