Lonely Planet Guide

We were approached by Lonely Planet to assist with their research for their guide on North Korea (in their Korea guide). We were given a visa for Tony Wheeler in his position as travel expert and advisor and travelled with him to the northern reaches of Mount Chilbo and Mount Paekdu.

Rough Guide

The Rough Guide published their first guide in 2008 with the assistance of Koryo Tours.

Bradt Guide

We have worked with the Bradt Publications in providing detailed tourist information for their latest book on travel in DPRK.

Nordkorea-Handbuch

The Nordkorea-Handbuch is one of the best (and only) German-language guide books on the DPRK.

The Game of Their Lives

A Koryo Tours and VeryMuchSo Publication on the making of the film of the North Korea World Cup team of 1966 who had disapperared from public view for 36 years. Art of the DPRK

The images contained within this book have been produced over the years as promotional tools for advertising films made in the DPRK to a non-Korean audience, usually at film festivals in fellow socialist countries and other members of the non-aligned movement. This privately owned collection showcases a sample of beatifully made North Korean film posters covering a variety of film genres from epic war films to televised drama and much more
